Grades 3-5, Fridays
Designed for the seasoned sewer and absolute beginner alike, this class is structured around projects that
are fun and rewarding to all. Students learn and hone the basics of sewing by hand and on a sewing
machine as well as ways to create unique fabrics. These skills come together as we create simple,
one-of-a-kind, fully functional projects such as repurposed sweater stuffed animals and block printed tote
bags. The projects vary with each new session of I Made It Myself, so if your student enjoyed this
enrichment class in the past they're sure to again.
